This is a request for help. Help me fight corruption.
I’m in the Knysna Magistrates’ Court with our government tomorrow (wherein i face 3 lawyers and an advocate).
Next week, I present evidence to a Committee of Parliament. Several provincial organisations will be there as well as Knysna Mayor Eleanore Spies. I hope this is a sincere effort by all to address corruption so pervasive that i consider it to be organised crime.
No one is above the law and anyone earning a municipal or councillor salary must be reminded that they work for us first, corrupt power never.
I do what i do for all of us, so that we have a better home in Knysna and a cleaner Western Cape. It’s what i want for me. I hope that you want that enough to fight for it too.
I’d already slowed articles and now reduce Facebook content so that i can focus on court cases and investigation. I have scheduled 3 small, daily posts for Facebook which will reduce to two, then almost none.
Until year end, I will only return to provide major political and legal updates plus an occasional, unrelated feature article.
We may not have daily interaction but know that it’s only because important matters command my attention.
Personally, i have to survive. I wouldn’t have eaten at home or had meetings at Wimpy the past 2 weeks unless friends had helped. A beer has become a rare thing so really enjoyed that with my landlord on Monday. Thanks to those people!
I’m fortunate in that i’d deposited money ahead of time into my printing account otherwise i’d never have been ready for the latest case.
I hope that next week is the beginning of the end. I will tell you more about that as my first update, followed by another after Parliament.
HELP ME FIGHT CORRUPTION
Are you a supporter? Do you appreciate my activism? If so, please consider helping me. I’ve worked for free for 6 years. Donations are incredibly rare. There’s daily living costs and items i need that would be of major assistance e.g a R3000 laser printer would’ve saved me approximately R800 this week alone. That would help immensely with the many court cases to come.
I can’t afford pride if i’m to survive or succeed in gaining justice. Please consider helping with groceries, MTN airtime, coffee shop meetings costs or a small cash donation each month.
