My Facebook page and associated websites are about connecting people. They supports local businesses & promote tourism. We also get to have fun. But the serious side, social ills and politics, is even more important because so few are prepared to step into that mess even though it affects our lives more than anything else.
My belief is that we have to commit to both the light and the dark to truly love our town. As you well know, the dark side gets me into trouble.
I cut down a lot on my online activity this past week as i prepared an appeal and other things but must go cold turkey for the near future – i have to focus on the many, many court cases aimed at gagging me. I may even land in jail (so it’s serious).
It’s tough being broke and standing alone against this continuous attack so wish me strength in keeping standing.
Remember that the Knysna DA, ANC & COPE have refused transparency on most of the important issues i’ve presented. They also refused to act on evidence i’ve provided. The newspapers have also never printed the full stories, intentionally so, so i wish you’d stop buying them until they do (read them online).
There’s been no investigations and no punishment.
If you are one of those that supports those politicians and municipal staff, and the propagandists who’re working with them, ask yourself if suing me is more important than honesty in politics? Is suing me and hoping to jail me more important than getting answers on the millions of taxpayers’ cash that’s been wasted? Ask yourself why they refused my challenge to public questioning even though so many of you wanted it to happen?
We cannot have double standards if we (which is everyone, rich and poor, orange and blue,) are to have a South African future together. Considering the country unrest in our country, we should all be trembling… and motivated to find commonalities rather than differences in each other’s lives.
To my supporters, always thank you. Silence must never defeat answers! Keep my questions alive by asking them yourselves.
Enjoy the pre-scheduled daily jokes and the flashback posts (for the tons of new readers that subscribed this year, they will prove interesting and explain what i’m talking about above).
Catch you on the flip-side of Knysna 🙂
