Is the Democratic Alliance (DA) a criminal organisation? The Democratic Alliance Mafia? Their scary actions in Knysna suggests that they’re crooks, headed by Cape Town bosses who, in turn, may be controlled by big business and foreign countries whose intentions have long remained hidden.
I’m an activist who supports no political party because none have supported our town. In fact, all are culpable or in partnership with maladministration and crimes of the DA that i’ve made well known locally and, to some extent, in the Western Cape.
The DA and Knysna Municipality are guilty of nepotism, illegal appointments, cronyism, graft, the deliberate abuse of taxpayer funds, the destruction of constitutional rights, cover-up and defamation to a horrendous degree. The evidence for much of this is presented in my ‘Love Knysna Petition’ to the National Council of Provinces (upper house of the Parliament), and my submissions to the Office of the Public Protector who may deserve to be in that Mafioso organogram (see picture).
At every turn, before Parliament, investigation has been blocked. Any reasonable reader of my submissions will understand why investigation is obviously required yet the police, Hawks and Public Prosecutor failed to act.
The DA’s response is to repeatedly take me to court, threaten me and run propaganda campaigns against me. The Knysna Magistrates’ Court is disgrace, many strange things happening within and not one judgement, for or against me, mentioning the DA despite hundreds of pages of evidence about their crimes against our town and their actions against me.
Instead, the DA has retained criminal constituents, even allowing two to become councillors.
The description “DA” begins locally, with councillors but, especially, with Mayor Eleanore Spies and Speaker Georlene Wolmarans (whose positions were reversed before the 2016 local elections), and Deputy Mayor Peter Myers. Where there’s wrongdoing or failure to stop wrongdoing, these three names, along with a bunch of municipal employees, keep jumping up as if our town is their trampoline.
They’re not alone in their mafia hats. Above them, DA Eastern Region Manager, Jaco Londt, was well aware of misconduct and lawlessness. As immorally unresponsive has been the Eden District under which Knysna falls. Premier Helen Zille, along with her inner circle of mediocre men (MEC Anton Bredell and MEC Alan Winde), not only failed in their duty but took the sides of those committing crime, thus making themselves candidates for jail.
Above them all, responsible for keeping them in order, just and moral, is James Selfe and the DA Federal Executive he leads. They too, suspiciously, have failed to act on detailed information received.
The first time i mentioned one of the DA’s sponsors, Nathan Kirsch, lawyers of South Africa’s biggest media company (which he previously owned) contacted me.
Where there’s a lead, i follow. That had me asking Mayor Spies questions such as how many times her ‘husband’ has been to rehab since becoming councillor. And whether Peter Myers gets to act as Mayor because she allegedly owes him a lot of money.
That is obviously information in the public interest. If it was untrue, all she had to do was state such. Instead, this week, she threatened me with High Court action. The out-of-town, big law firm used is Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr Inc. (over 350 lawyers). They recently made big money from Knysna Municipality, ironically investigating an illegal tender i uncovered. These lawyers refuse to answer whether they’re representing Knysna Municipality or Spies as an individual i.e. whose paying the legal bill, her or the taxpayer?
In my experience, intimidation is one of the dominant characteristics of the Democratic Alliance Mafia.
I will have a lot more to say to Parliament when the fourth hearing of the Love Knysna Petition is held, especially about their support for illegal and cronyistic appointments which found the wrong people in charge during the Great Knysna Fire.
Please read the ‘Beginner’s Guide to DA Corruption’. You’ll easily discover that they are not what they pretend to be.
