My regular readers will have watched, for years, my ongoing battle to find responsible government to investigate my allegations of crime and corruption in the local government of Knysna.
They will have also have watched as many civil and criminal cases have been laid against me by the same politicians (and their friends) that i have accused of being involved. I believe that their purpose is to destroy me so that i’m never able to find anyone willing to conduct fair investigation (if such a responsible public official, politician or organisation exists).
Today, i was supposed to be in Parliament to answer questions regarding my allegations of corruption in the DA, ANC, Knysna Tourism (now called Knysna & Partners) and the Knysna Municipality. This was a follow-up to the documents i filed in Oudtshoorn with the National Council of Provinces (NCOP) when it was on circuit.
It’s understandable that all stakeholders attend so that questioning can happen in all directions so as to ensure fair representation. However, the Knysna Municipality apparently stated that it could not attend as it was at a Section 80 meeting. What a ridiculous excuse!
There are several Section 80 meetings every month. There are all kinds of meetings every day. Not all officials and politicians attend them. If they did, our local government would grind to a standstill. Consequently, i can only think that Knysna Municipality is more interested in delay than they are in respecting truth and Parliament.
With delay, i worry that more ill will befall me in between.
I don’t know if Parliament is the final, official nail in shutting me up in the Western Cape (as has happened wherever the DA is involved) but i have to approach it with positivism that not only will true investigation be enacted but that i will be able to overcome the difficulty that the past 4 and a half years has been for me.
I have to believe that there are good people in our government. I have to hope that i meet them soon.
