“My kids will murder your kids in their sleep if you continue thinking you [whites are] superior – you watch.” MURDEROUS RACISM Asanda Magesh Magalela is a government employee who clearly expressed his wish for white people to be killed. It happened on my Love Knysna Facebook page after i posted an update on the woman who allegedly hitched a ride in an animal cage in the back of a bakkie. Magalela also said: “This is what you get [from the] ANC for negotiating for what was ours to begin with. We were supposed to be given the opportunity to … ‘Click here to read full article…’
In the small town of Knysna, there are 3 murders that refuse to die… Face-down in the dirt of St George’s Anglican Church’s garden, Jessica Wheeler (18) was suffocated to death. Less than a month later, Victoria Stadler (20) was strangled to death in the forest between the suburbs of Hornlee and Noetzie. Peter Mc Helm (48) was killed the same day as Stadler, also strangled, one kilometre away in the same forest. Alan D Elsdon is an ex-cop turned author who has investigated the cases for 3 years. Regards the first two murders, he’s adamant that, “Undisputed evidence shows … ‘Click here to read full article…’
3 people were brutally murdered in Knysna during a one-month period of Autumn, 2005. They became known as The Knysna Murders… Heinrich van Rooyen, a young DJ, was convicted for the murders of Jessica Wheeler (18) and Victoria Stadler (20). Aubrey Kemoetie and Byron Moses were convicted for killing Peter McHelm (48). More than eleven years later, the crimes remain the tourist town’s most infamous because the guilt of Van Rooyen is still disputed and whispered rumours of bad cops continue to be whispered. ALAN D. ELSDON INVESTIGATING Last Wednesday, January 25, i met Alan D. Elsdon, the author of … ‘Click here to read full article…’
Thoughts on Murder: Other people can blog about the sadness and outrage generated by the murder of 20-year-old Birna Brjansdottir in Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. For me, the remarkable point is the difference between living in a first world country like that, where the government is held accountable to its citizens, versus living in South Africa with our daily horror shows. The population of Iceland may be small but it would be like adding George, Plettenberg Bay and Knysna together, a comparison i make because the latter is my home area. Birna Brjansdottir’s murder was only the second in … ‘Click here to read full article…’
The murder of Felicia Oktober, a Knysna SANParks Ranger living in the Diepwalle forest, was brutal. On August 25, she was stabbed 13 times. Her throat was slit. The following day, her boyfriend, the prime suspect, was arrested 70km away in the city of George. Yesterday, September 27, in the Knysna Magistrates’ Court, he was denied bail. For the reported 100 residents of Felicia’s community who turned up, it offered some relief. Read more at ENCA.'Click here to read full article...'
I sent Mayor Eleonore Bouw-Spies questions regarding Knysna crime. Unfortunately, she hasn’t responded, again denting her election promises of transparency and communication. I don’t believe that politicians, especially a mayor, get to ignore one of our biggest problems and fears. Sure, the SAPS are primarily responsible but it’s become far too easy for elected leaders to pass all the responsibility onto them. It’s even worse if the Democratic Alliance does it because that’s basically shifting the blame onto the ANC, a convenience of politics. A real leader doesn’t do that. A real leader leads the best they can. Knowing where … ‘Click here to read full article…’

In 2005, Jessica Wheeler and Victoria Stadler were murdered in Knysna. Heinrich van Rooyen, a nightclub DJ who knew both girls, was convicted. However, many support Van Rooyen’s innocence, believing that the police were too quick to convict for the sake of the tourist town’s image and revenue. There were disturbing questions too. Why were the murders so different. Why did Stadler’s murder match the modus operandi of a third murder, Peter McHelm’s, for which others were convicted? Is Van Rooyen guilty or innocent? Or are the facts so grey that the case needs to be reopened? Please only vote … ‘Click here to read full article…’
I NEED YOUR HELP I intend posting my article about Heinrich van Rooyen and the 3 associated Knysna murders of Jessica Wheeler, Victoria Stadler & Peter McHelm. This will appear on KnysnaKeep.org and the Love Knysna Facebook before month end.
