Oh yeah, no need for more of you to tell me about that silly petition to have my Love Knysna Facebook page removed. Many of you already have. Mistake to set it up but some people are naive, others just cruel. To be shared by pedophile propagandists and corrupt politicians will have backlash in my favour. It’s already proven useful – thanks for the screenshots. That silly petition is going to help my case against Councillor Young, underhanded DA constituents, their supporters and others i’m already in legal battles with. To have the Deputy Mayor’s wife, the against-the-uninsured-victims-of the-fire Candace … ‘Click here to read full article…’
We object to all oil exploration off our Southern Cape coast. Immediately, we object to the latest application for oil/gas exploration rights by Sungu Sungu Petroleum (Pty) Ltd (Ghana) for a 2,500 km² portion of the 11,224 km² area known as the Pletmos Baisin (offshore, between Knysna and Jeffrey’s Bay). In between, there is the famous Tsitsikamma National Park with iconic tourist destinations such as Nature’s Valley and Storms River. Other towns affected include Plettenberg Bay and Cape St Francis. Remember the Kiani Satu. Imagine something far worse happening! SIGN PETITION AGAINST OIL EXPLORATION PUBLIC PARTICIPATION Last year, PASA (Petroleum … ‘Click here to read full article…’
This is my objection to, and request for revaluation of, the proposed Pit Bull Terrier and ‘Keeping of Dogs’ by-laws in Knysna. It was passed at the Governance & Planning Section 80 meeting and now goes to the Mayoral Committee (MAYCO) for approval before, shortly thereafter, heading on to the Council Meeting where it is legislated. The goal must be to have the Mayoral Committee send it back to the Section 80 meeting where they should encourage and consider public participation. An advantage is that Ray Barrell (DA) is the Chairperson of Governance & Planning as well as a member … ‘Click here to read full article…’
The reckless disregard of politicians for the public’s will continues in Knysna. Yet again, the DA, ANC and COPE have unanimously agreed to give themselves a pay increase. This time it’s 5%. You may not think that’s a lot but it definitely is when you consider the state of Knysna and the fact that we don’t have the money. Let me repeat that – WE DON’T HAVE THE MONEY! It’s financial rape.'Click here to read full article...'
Over 12 000 people have seen the Stop the Salary Increase post on Love Knysna’s Facebook. Over 150 have Liked and a similar amount have signed the petition. If you were afraid to join the petition and stick out like a sore thumb, now you don’t have to worry because you’ll be keeping good company – please, please share. Maybe, most importantly, 19 people have confirmed their attendance for a community meeting to discuss our town’s challenges (from the ISDF and Knysna Tourism to crime and whatever else you want to bring up) and if there is a way they … ‘Click here to read full article…’

I contact you regards urgent matters to save our town. If you do not act now, even via a few minutes online, you leave Knysna open to serious damage. I am not exaggerating. This is not a meaningless chain letter. You may have heard the stories but not have acted upon them. Please act now. We have to protect Knysna. It’s so important that i’ve sent it to everyone, including those i have disputes with (because this is more important).
