Protests by the poor are this decade’s zeitgeist (spirit of the age). There was another service delivery protest in Knysna yesterday as residents from White Location marched to hand Mayor Georlene Wolmarans demands for electricity, toilets and housing. Such actions stir mixed feelings inside of me. As my readers will know, i’m highly critical of Knysna’s dishonest DA but ANC shirts leading anti-DA placards smacks of hypocrisy.
